If you're leaving Loop over pricing or an annual contract, Return Wise gives small and mid-size Shopify stores store-credit returns with pricing you can read on the App Store — and no contract.
This isn't “better than Loop at everything.” Loop is a strong, enterprise-grade product. But if you're a small or mid-size store choosing on price, contract terms, and setup, the differences are concrete:
Comparison as of July 2026, from loopreturns.com. Competitor pricing and terms change — re-check their site before relying on this.
| Return Wise | Loop Returns | |
|---|---|---|
| Published pricing | Yes — $0, $14.99, $49.99, $99.99/mo, listed on the Shopify App Store | Paid plans from about $155/mo, billed annually; enterprise pricing on request |
| Free plan | Yes — with no order minimum | A free tier exists, but it requires 10,000+ annual orders |
| Contract | None — billed monthly through Shopify, cancel anytime | Annual contract on the returns plans |
| Setup | Self-serve — install and configure it yourself in minutes | Sales-led onboarding |
Return Wise refunds the price a customer actually paid for an item — the discounted unit price, after any order-level discount is spread across the line. That math is shown on the return portal before the shopper submits, and again in your queue, so nothing about the number is a black box. If you charge a return or restocking fee, it's shown before submit too. When a shopper chooses store credit, an optional bonus is applied on top of that same figure.
We'd rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one. Choose Loop if you need:
A small DTC store leaving over pricing usually doesn't need those, which is exactly who Return Wise is for.
Every feature above ships today on the plan noted — nothing here is “coming soon.”
